      Leipziger Messe joins expo PetroTrans Trade Fair – Leipziger Messe joins expo PetroTrans Trade Fair, which has been held every two years in Kassel since 2004. The trade fair for fuel logistics has established itself as an international business platform with steadily growing numbers of exhibitors and visitors as well as a growing exhibition area. In 2020, it will take place for the ninth time in Kassel from 1 to 3 October.

      musicpark: A Successful Launch for the New Music Experience Fair – An exuberant atmosphere, music on every stand and stage, sparkling eyes in the various testing areas: The premiere of the new music event musicpark was an all-round success. More than 11,200 visitors came to the Leipziger Messe from 1 to 3 November to try out musical instruments of all shapes and sizes, to add to their own collection or to be entertained at one of the numerous stages by over 350 international and national musicians. Newcomers, music professionals, young and old alike - the exhibition featured more than 200 brands and exhibitors, plus a supporting programme inviting visitors to join in, ensuring that there was something for everyone interested in music.

      musicpark: Get involved! – Experience musical instruments - the new music experience event musicpark promises more than just an extensive selection of stages and live performances. From 1 to 3 November, music enthusiasts can get hands-on in various workshops and testing areas and discover their (new) favourite instrument first-hand. Whether in your first lessons in the PlayZones or in advanced workshops at the College & Academy - nobody will be bored at the musicpark.

      Optimal Care in the Age of Digitalisation - No. 1 innovation platform OTWorld 2020 presents the latest solutions – OTWorld will open its doors again from 12-15 May 2020. OTWorld takes place every two years in Leipzig and is the world's leading trade show and world congress for prosthetics, orthotics, orthopaedic footwear technology, compression therapy and individual rehabilitation technology. It brings together experts from a wide range of professions in order to constantly work towards improving orthopaedic treatment and care and thus people's quality of life. During the interdisciplinary exchange, new, indication-based care concepts will be discussed. OTWorld is going to focus on the immense expectations regarding the possibilities of digitalisation and the critical effects on the quality of care. Lectures, symposia, factory talks, exhibitor workshops, guided exhibition tours and themed special presentations offer trade visitors numerous opportunities to learn more, familiarise themselves with the latest innovative developments and exchange ideas with colleagues on pressing issues.

      therapie Leipzig Returns with a Record Result – therapie Leipzig returns for the 10th time to continue its success story. In the last three days, 16,800 [2017: 16,100] physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, sports therapists and doctors met at the Leipzig Trade Fair. The 10th-anniversary of the trade fair and congress for therapy, medical rehabilitation and prevention once again gave momentum to the therapeutic products industry, both at the technical and political level. In addition, it emphasised its position as the industry's leading showcase for products: 371 exhibitors, from market leaders to start-ups, presented their innovations to trade visitors.

      ISPO World Congress 2019 in the Land of the Rising Sun – After six years away, the World Congress of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics' (ISPO) will again be hosted in Asia, once again providing a unique opportunity for global exchange in the field of assistive tehnology in the region. The venue is Kobe, Japan. Japan is the world's second largest market for medical products and services. The Japanese healthcare system is considered highly innovative but depends heavily on imports (49 per cent), which also includes orthopaedic aids such as prostheses and orthoses. For four days, from 5th to 8th October, Kobe will become a centre for international experts who, under the slogan of "Basics to Bionics", will reflect the breadth of the rehabilitation field and assistive technology. Exhibitors from all over the world, including many market leaders, will present their products and services with a special focus on the emerging South-east Asian markets.       denkmal and MUTEC Fairs climb to new heights – With an extremely successful 14,200 visitor record, the 13th Leading European trade fair denkmal and the parallel international trade fair MUTEC ended on 10 November 2018. "With an enormous response from exhibitors, visitors and experts from Germany and abroad, denkmal was able to further expand its position as the leading European trade fair this year. It is undoubtedly the technical linchpin for the preservation of Europe's cultural heritage and this year provided strong economic and political impetus," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Together with MUTEC, which has established itself as an important date for museum and cultural facility operators, denkmal forms a trade fair network for cultural heritage and cultural assets that is unique in Europe". This year, the trade fair association recorded an all-time high with over 550 exhibitors from 20 countries.

      MUTEC and denkmal's popularity on the rise – With a record 14,200 visitors the International Trade Fair MUTEC and 13th edition of the leading European Trade fair denkmal came to a successful close on 10 November 2018. "This is only the second time that MUTEC has been organised solely by Leipziger Messe, and has already established itself as an important event for operators of museums and cultural institutions," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Together with denkmal, which was able to further expand its position as Europe's leading trade fair this year, MUTEC forms a trade fair network for cultural heritage and cultural assets that is unique in Europe." A record 550 exhibitors from 20 countries took part in both fairs combined.
