      News report for CosmeticBusiness 2019: Innovations and new products from the cosmetics supplying industry – Focus on Sustainability: At CosmeticBusiness 2019 from June 5 to 6, 429 ex-hibitors and companies will present innovative solutions for the future prod-uct concepts of the cosmetics industry under the banner "Turn trends into business". 75 of these companies are first time presenters at the international trade fair for the cosmetics supplying industry. In particular, sustainability as a megatrend will shape the 15th edition of the trade event: Numerous manu-facturers now rely on renewable or biodegradable raw materials and material-saving packaging options. MOC Munich visitors will once again receive de-tailed insights into trends, innovative products and new developments in the fields of raw materials, manufacturing and packaging. The newly designed Innovation Route, in particular, guides visitors to the innovative and creative highlights of the trade fair via themed hall diagrams in the exhibition guide. The GreenRoute will follow the sustainability trend.

      „Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff“ grows by 30 per cent and establishes itself as European industry platform – For the second time, the Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff Trade Fair will welcome notable exhibitors and trade visitors from Germany and abroad with its systematic positioning as a European industry platform and an exhibition area that has grown by 30 per cent. From 9 to 11 April 2019, 65 companies will present their solutions, products and services for hazardous goods transport, storage, internal logistics for hazardous substances and maximum safety in handling of highly sensitive goods and substances at the Leipzig Trade Fair. Visitors from over 20 European countries are expected. Alongside the high-calibre conference programme, various practical demonstrations and conferences relevant to the industry, decision-makers, specialist managers and security officers from the various transport and logistics sectors can expect a broad range of opportunities to exchange knowledge and to expand their professional network on the three days of the event.

In the last three days, 16,800 [2017: 16,100] physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, sports therapists and doctors met at the Leipzig Trade Fair. The 10th-anniversary of the trade fair and congress for therapy, medical rehabilitation and prevention once again gave momentum to the therapeutic products industry, both at the technical and political level.       ISPO World Congress 2019 in the Land of the Rising Sun – After six years away, the World Congress of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics' (ISPO) will again be hosted in Asia, once again providing a unique opportunity for global exchange in the field of assistive tehnology in the region. The venue is Kobe, Japan. Japan is the world's second largest market for medical products and services. The Japanese healthcare system is considered highly innovative but depends heavily on imports (49 per cent), which also includes orthopaedic aids such as prostheses and orthoses. For four days, from 5th to 8th October, Kobe will become a centre for international experts who, under the slogan of "Basics to Bionics", will reflect the breadth of the rehabilitation field and assistive technology. Exhibitors from all over the world, including many market leaders, will present their products and services with a special focus on the emerging South-east Asian markets.       denkmal and MUTEC Fairs climb to new heights – With an extremely successful 14,200 visitor record, the 13th Leading European trade fair denkmal and the parallel international trade fair MUTEC ended on 10 November 2018. "With an enormous response from exhibitors, visitors and experts from Germany and abroad, denkmal was able to further expand its position as the leading European trade fair this year. It is undoubtedly the technical linchpin for the preservation of Europe's cultural heritage and this year provided strong economic and political impetus," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Together with MUTEC, which has established itself as an important date for museum and cultural facility operators, denkmal forms a trade fair network for cultural heritage and cultural assets that is unique in Europe". This year, the trade fair association recorded an all-time high with over 550 exhibitors from 20 countries.
