      Premiere: DreamHack Leipzig 2019 lowers age restriction - for the first time the Expo is open to visitors 12 years and older – Flashing screens, thrilling events, and an exciting atmosphere - from 15 to 17 February 2019, DreamHack Leipzig is the gaming community's Mecca once again. Visitors can expect a varied three-day program of eSports tournaments, cosplay, community stars, and a large DreamExpo. As of 2019, the latter will also be of interest to young gamers. While admission was previously restricted to guests 16 years and older, this year - thanks to the development of a new hall concept - visitors 12 years and older can also attend the exhibition.

      denkmal and MUTEC Fairs climb to new heights – With an extremely successful 14,200 visitor record, the 13th Leading European trade fair denkmal and the parallel international trade fair MUTEC ended on 10 November 2018. "With an enormous response from exhibitors, visitors and experts from Germany and abroad, denkmal was able to further expand its position as the leading European trade fair this year. It is undoubtedly the technical linchpin for the preservation of Europe's cultural heritage and this year provided strong economic and political impetus," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Together with MUTEC, which has established itself as an important date for museum and cultural facility operators, denkmal forms a trade fair network for cultural heritage and cultural assets that is unique in Europe". This year, the trade fair association recorded an all-time high with over 550 exhibitors from 20 countries.

      MUTEC and denkmal's popularity on the rise – With a record 14,200 visitors the International Trade Fair MUTEC and 13th edition of the leading European Trade fair denkmal came to a successful close on 10 November 2018. "This is only the second time that MUTEC has been organised solely by Leipziger Messe, and has already established itself as an important event for operators of museums and cultural institutions," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Together with denkmal, which was able to further expand its position as Europe's leading trade fair this year, MUTEC forms a trade fair network for cultural heritage and cultural assets that is unique in Europe." A record 550 exhibitors from 20 countries took part in both fairs combined.

      denkmal 2018: Bundled international expertise in monument conservation and restoration – This year's denkmal will once again be a magnet for international specialist expertise and a source of inspiration for heritage conservation in Germany and abroad, attracting exhibitors, visitors, conference programmes and the European Cultural Heritage Year 2018. For the 13th time in 2018, the leading European trade fair is an indispensable business and information platform focusing on the transfer of European culture and knowledge on the preservation of cultural heritage across borders. From November 8 to 10, exhibitors from 19 countries will be presenting their range of products and services as well as country-specific specialist knowledge in Leipzig. The international conference programme, which is rightly regarded as the most comprehensive advanced training event in the entire sector, comprises more than 150 events.
