Exhibitor Statements Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff 2019
Trade fair participation was definitely worthwhile
As a disposal company from the region, our presence at the trade fair was a given. The trade visitors were interested in our various services and asked specifically about our emergency service. We were pleased with the discussions we had - both in terms of quantity and, most importantly, quality. We were able to establish excellent contacts with manufacturers and network partners. Participation in the trade fair was definitely worth it.
Holger Rösel, CEO of Becker Umweltdienste GmbH
Reaching capacity limits
Compared to last year's event, public interest has increased significantly. We had excellent discussions at our stand and were able to make important connections. Our presentations in the forum were also very well received. At our "Find the faults" competition, we actually reached the capacity limits due to the huge response. It was a great fair. We are very satisfied. We will gladly be available again as an ideal sponsor at the next event.
Ralf Hiltmann, Vice President at Gefahrgutverband Deutschland e.V.
Next time we will need more staff
Two years ago, at the event, we were pleased about our success at this event. In our opinion, the number of visitors to the trade fair more than doubled this year. Our stand was very well received. We didn't expect this volume of turnout. We presented how quickly load securing can be carried out with our company for the first time at a trade fair. One container only takes five minutes. This was very well received by the trade visitors. Next time we definitely need more staff and we will come up with something new for the stand design.
Heinz Rainer, CEO of Rainer Ladungssicherungstechnik GmbH
High-quality questions, great contacts
At Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff, we met precisely the correct contact people. We experienced an audience with high-quality questions and were thus able to make great contacts. We noticed that safety was a high priority and that occupational safety was the main focus. In three days, we were able to reach our target group, which would otherwise take a great deal of extra effort. The range of specialist visitors was enormous. We had discussions with industry professionals from all over Germany and with participants from the Czech Republic, Poland and Finland.
Jürgen Bahr, Sales Manager at Carl Beutlhauser Hebe- und Fördertechnik GmbH, Exclusive Dealer for Linde Material Handling
Trade fair has reached the next evolutionary stage
Compared to the first event, the fair has progressed to the next evolutionary stage. There has been a significant development. We were able to have numerous excellent discussions at our stand. This was a successful trade fair appearance for us. We will definitely be back in two years' time.
Michael Kriegel, Department Head at DACHSER Chem-Logistics Corporate Solutions, Research & Development
High-quality trade visitors
As a Chemnitz-based company, participation in the trade fair is almost an obligation. We were positively surprised by the course of the event. Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff is a very enjoyable trade fair with a specialist character. The quality of the trade visitors was excellent and we were able to address our target group perfectly. Many participants came directly to our stand and asked a lot about our products and services. Two years from now we will be back.
Dr Valentin Belentschikow, Head of Marketing at domeba
Tangible demand for products
We recorded a significant increase compared to the first event in 2017. We met trade visitors at this event who knew exactly what they wanted. We experienced tangible demand for our products. For this reason, we are very pleased with the outcome of the fair. We were able to present ourselves in the best possible way and foster relationships with our customers. We expect to participate again in two years' time.
Andreas Neidhardt, Sales Manager at richter+heß Verpackungen
Significant increase in the number of visitors
It was the right step for Gefahrgut & Gefahrstoff to move from Congress Center Leipzig to Exhibition Hall 2. This created a relaxed trade fair atmosphere. As exhibitors, we are able to present our services and products more effectively due to the greater freedom. That worked very well. We were pleasantly surprised by the significant increase in the number of visitors. We were able to present our wide range of transport services in an excellent way and hold very interesting discussions. The trade fair visitors are specifically looking for solutions and have a high degree of knowledge. There is a very good chance we will take part again in two years' time.
Michael Perschke, CEO of Rhenus und Hellmann GmbH & Co KG
Non-stop shop talk
We were constantly engaged in excellent technical discussions. The topic of hazardous waste was a particular focus. The focus was on the recycling of lithium-ion batteries. We were able to excellently present our capabilities in this segment at the trade fair. We received extremely good feedback and met numerous potential customers. From our point of view, there is nothing preventing us from attending the next event.
Christian Kürpick, Project Manager at Remondis Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG
Trade fair unique in Europe
You can feel how the industry is growing into one big family even though it is only the second event. The fair is unique in Europe and very important for our members' day-to-day work. It was a fantastic idea to be the ideal sponsor of this trade fair. Hazardous substances are present everywhere in our daily lives. Here in Leipzig the topic gets the necessary attention. We will work on making the trade fair known and growing throughout Europe.
