New schedule: efa and HIVOLTEC 2021 will begin one day earlier
efa – a trade fair for electrical engineering, building systems, light and energy and HIVOLTEC – a trade exhibition for medium and high voltage power distribution and the meeting place for users of related technologies and services will take place next year from 21 to 23 September. This means that the two events are will begin one day earlier and will take place from Tuesday to Thursday in the future. Interested companies now have the opportunity to register for the next edition of the Central German power platform. After this year's tough situation, efa 2021 is the ideal opportunity for the electrical industry to re-establish personal contact with an interested trade audience in a large setting and innovative environment and to give fresh momentum to professional exchange.
“We made the decision to change the schedule from Tuesday to Thursday in close cooperation with efa's sponsoring associations and partners from the industry. As a result, efa, as the most important meeting place for the electronics industry in Central Germany, will better meet the needs of exhibitors and trade visitors in the future. We're looking forward to three days full of energy,” explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.
In the exhibition, efa brings together numerous market leaders, established companies and strong newcomers from all areas of electrical engineering and building technology. It thus offers an innovative environment for the presentation of products and a comprehensive market overview for trade visitors from craft, industry, business and wholesale as well as for planners, engineers and the real estate industry. In the coming year, HIVOLTEC will once again be an asset, which is specifically aimed at users of medium and high voltage technology.
The conference programme is one of the visitor magnets at efa and HIVOLTEC. The centrepiece is the four forums in which current industry issues and subject-specific information are discussed in detail. The efa forum is explicitly aimed at the electrical trade with practical topics on technologies, standards and guidelines. In Forum:Licht, which is organised together with the Deutsche Lichttechnische Gesellschaft Leipzig-Halle district group, the focus is on aspects such as light quality, LED solutions and design options with light. Forum:InnovatiON is the perfect place for pioneers: future-oriented topics such as electromobility, electric heat and energy storage solutions are discussed here. There are exciting lectures especially on practical questions of the energy technology infrastructure in the forum: Energietechnik, whose programme is developed in cooperation with the VDE district association Dresden. The forum acts as a link between efa and HIVOLTEC and represents the total range of energy-related infrastructure.
In times of the Corona Pandemic, the Leipziger Messe offers a safe and professional framework for holding events. A hygiene concept that is already in use and that will be adapted to the current conditions in good time before efa and HIVOLTEC ensures the safety of everyone involved. The current concept is based on the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute and has been examined and approved by the city of Leipzig's responsible health authority.
efa has been the trade show for electrical and building technology in Central Germany and the neighbouring regions since 1990. It is the central information and communication platform for craftsmen, industry, trade, planners, architects and engineers as well as building operators and investors. In addition to the range of exhibitors, efa offers current information for experienced professionals as well as for the next generation of the industry in specialist events. efa is supported by the Electrical and Information Technology Association of Saxony / Thuringia and the Saxony-Anhalt State Guild Association of the Electrical Trade.
The trade exhibition HIVOLTEC shows technology and services for electrical power distribution on the medium and high voltage levels. As a focused user meeting within the framework of efa, it is aimed specifically at decision-makers, engineers, technicians, masters and electrical fitters from network and power plant operators as well as companies, electricians and research institutions for this area of application. Under the umbrella of efa, the spectrum of the electrical engineering infrastructure in the area of low, medium and high voltage is comprehensively mapped.
