The Music Experience Trade Fair musicpark Postponed until June 2021
musicpark will permanently move to June and will take place parallel to the Leipzig Bachfest with an adapted daily schedule from Saturday through Monday from 12 to 14 June 2021. The music experience fair will therefore not be held as planned from 6 to 8 November 2020.
According to the current hygiene regulations, it is not possible to hold an interactive experience fair from 6 to 8 November 2020, where trying out and testing musical instruments is an integral part of the event concept. Therefore, the organisers have decided that starting next year, the event will be permanently moved to June with a different sequence of days from Saturday to Monday.
The new allocation of days reflects the industry's recommendations. The new schedule makes visiting the trade fair a more relaxed experience for musicians, DJs and specialist dealers as they can attend beyond performance days and busy weekdays. All lovers of musical instruments are once again invited to discover a large variety of musical instruments and accessories and get inspired by the extensive programme of events.
June 2021 promises to be a highlight in the events calendar for the music and trade fair city of Leipzig. musicpark will now take place at the same time as the celebrated Leipzig Bachfest (11 - 20 June 2021) that draws visitors from all around the globe. With the motto "Salvation" it offers over 150 first-class events with world-famous Bach interpreters over ten days. Between 12 - 15 June, "Bachs Messias" series will take centre stage alongside an extensive, free Bach crossover programme on the BachStage at Leipziger Markt.
