Statement from the Leipziger Messe regarding the current Coronavirus situation
The health of our exhibitors, visitors, guests and employees is our top priority. Please help us to implement the safety regulations against the spread of diseases. Pay attention to your personal protection and the protection of the other trade fair guests and comply with hygiene rules.
Leipziger Messe is in an ongoing discussion with the responsible authorities and the industry association AUMA. We are also following recommendations from the WHO, the Robert Koch Institute and the German Federal Foreign Office. As soon as the authorities release new guidelines on further actions to be taken, we shall implement these immediately and release an updated statement.
The Leipziger Messe has already taken its own precautions. A task force has been formed to assess the daily situation and implement any required measures. The medical team is staffed by qualified medical personnel who are on the lookout for any potential cases. The reporting chain for potential cases has been accordingly modified.
We are increasing our already very thorough cleaning of heavily frequented areas such as handrails, door handles and the sanity facilities. The entrance areas and sanitary facilities are equipped with disinfectant dispensers.
